Ahhhh the never ending love for Horrockses it is actually a little worrying. This is my latest purchase which i simply couldn’t resist because of the bold print and quintessential 50’s shape. It doesn’t actually fit me but i needed it to add to my collection! And due to an ebayer not really realising what they were selling it was just £21.00, BARGAIN!!! It is so crisp and fresh, which is definitely one of the biggest advantages of vintage cotton garments, they seem to hold that “life” in them so much better than the finer vintage fabrics.
Harrogate makes me happy

I absolutely love Harrogate, it is definitely the best place to visit in Yorkshire and has some great places to shop (and eat too!) I got back to Leeds this afternoon and literally went straight to Harrogate for a bit of vintage fun times. Got a few new lovely pieces ( 2 of which are probably for my mum as i definitely can’t afford them!) I got this beautiful french embroidered handbag which was £30 the skirt (which has a tiny waist that even i struggled to get done up) and this fabulous GIANT crocodile clutch bag. The clutch bag was £60 which was a bit of an ouch! price but it is in mint condition. I bought it from “elegant era” which is upstairs in montpellier mews antiques market the seller has some wonderful stuff! Truly beautiful jewellery, clothes and handbags and at a very fair price too.
