Just thought i would share the latest issue of vintage explorer as it features…ME!
Well, this is rather an exciting post if there ever was one!
Today the latest issue of Homes and antiques magazine has come out, and guess what? I am in it!!!
The dress above was a rather special dress as it was once MARGARET LOCKWOOD’S BALLGOWN!!! Yep, that’s right i was allowed to wear Margaret Lockwood’s Victor Stiebel for Jacqmar dress recently sold at Kerry Taylor auctions.
Three of the dresses seen belong to me. This being the two
Horrockses dresses seen above and also the gold ballgown (below) made from late 19th century fabric but turned into this dress in the 1950s.
and this dress can be hired from Haselmere wardrobe

Just wanted to share a little bit of me in this months vintage life magazine! My Horrockses dress is in the bottom right hand corner of the page.
This Horrockses was designed by Pat Albeck. I was wearing this dress when I met Pat last summer, and she confirmed that it was one of her designs.
There is also a little quote from me in the mag.
It’s a great issue filled with lots of lovely inspirational floral vintage dresses and a great piece about Edith Head which I thoroughly enjoyed too.
